G Seven Agriculture successfully undertook the supply, delivery, and installation of 560 sq. m. naturally ventilated greenhouse structures across different locations of Bagmati Province. The project included a total of 10 greenhouse sets, designed to provide a suitable protected cultivation environment for agricultural production.

The project was implemented in coordination with the Agriculture Development Directorate, Bagamati Province, Hetauda, with the objective of supporting modern and protected agricultural production through the establishment of durable and naturally ventilated greenhouse structures.

Project Overview

Each greenhouse is designed with a 20 m × 28 m footprint, providing a total floor area of 560 sq. m. The structure follows a naturally ventilated greenhouse concept, incorporating top ventilation and side ventilation arrangements to support proper air circulation and a favorable growing environment.

The greenhouse structure features a robust hot-dip galvanized tubular framework, designed for strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion. The structural components are joined using galvanized fixtures, brackets, clamps, nuts, bolts, washers, and other appropriate fastening systems.

Designed for Natural Ventilation

A major feature of the greenhouse is its ventilation system. The design incorporates top ventilation and side openings, allowing hot air to escape while promoting the circulation of fresh air inside the greenhouse.

The greenhouse also includes UV-stabilized insect netting at the ventilation openings and sides. This helps maintain ventilation while providing a barrier against insects and pests.

The curved and aerodynamic structural arrangement further contributes to the overall performance and stability of the greenhouse.

Strong and Durable Structure

The greenhouse structure is constructed using galvanized tubular members with protective galvanization to improve resistance against rust and environmental exposure.

Special attention is given to structural stability, foundation installation, and proper connection of structural members. The foundation system includes embedded vertical pipes and concrete works designed to provide stability under varying site and weather conditions.

The project specifications also emphasize proper installation practices, including the use of galvanized fixtures and suitable mechanical connections rather than relying on welded joints for the main structural assembly.

Greenhouse Covering and Internal Environment

The greenhouse is covered with UV-stabilized 200-micron plastic film, selected to provide suitable protection from external weather conditions while allowing the required light transmission for crop production.

The structure also incorporates a bottom apron, which helps reduce unwanted air movement and supports better environmental control within the greenhouse.

A double-door entry system is provided to improve access while helping minimize the direct entry of insects and external contaminants.

Shade Net and Crop Protection

The greenhouse is equipped with an aluminium-operated shade net system, with the shade-net coverage designed according to the greenhouse floor area.

The combination of the greenhouse covering, shade net, and insect net provides farmers with improved control over the growing environment and helps protect crops from unfavorable external conditions.

Air Circulation System

To further improve internal air movement, the greenhouse is equipped with four air circulation fans.

These fans are designed to support uniform air movement inside the greenhouse, helping reduce stagnant air and contributing to a more favorable growing environment for crops.

Quality-Focused Installation

The project required careful attention to structural assembly, foundation works, greenhouse covering, ventilation systems, insect net installation, shade-net installation, doors, profiles, and other accessories.

G Seven Agriculture focused on proper installation and finishing of each component so that the completed structures could provide reliable service under the agricultural conditions of Bagmati Province.

Supporting Modern Agriculture in Bagmati Province

Protected cultivation plays an important role in improving agricultural production by allowing farmers to manage environmental conditions more effectively. Naturally ventilated greenhouses can help protect crops from excessive rainfall, unfavorable weather, pests, and other external factors while creating a more suitable environment for crop cultivation.

Through this project, G Seven Agriculture contributed to the expansion of protected and modern agricultural infrastructure in Bagmati Province, providing greenhouse facilities designed around durability, ventilation, crop protection, and practical agricultural use.
